A chuckle slipped through her lips towards the hiss from the older woman. What could possibly be going through the other woman’s head? Had she finally cracked? Was this to be the end of their fighting? Perhaps Katherine would give up on this fight and finally let things go at this point. It’d be better that way. With a delicate dark brow raising she let the words leak in again as Katherine attempted to verbally assault her once more. Letting the elder woman go on as she wished a slow and sly smile crossed her lips. “I may drink like papa, but least I never followed in his steps, least I never sounded like mum.” Brows rose challengingly at Katherine. “’sides not that you’d know anything of wut I’m like katy.” A smile climbed further up her lips as she leaned forward, tapping a finger on the table. “You never gave anyone the time of day, including me. So you passing judgment of all people is absolutely bloody ‘ilarious Katy, would you like to tell me wut god’s like too?” A strong laugh slipped over her lips as the hired hand leaned back in her chair.
