This relationship was exactly as Kel had said, unlike anything either of them had experienced. She couldn’t have put it better herself. The Telepath often felt that she should know the answers or the direction in which they were headed but she didn’t. Five years of her life had been stolen, time which could have been spent learning and becoming a ‘normal’ 23 year old. With that in mind she was doing her best to understand the things coming her way and how she was feeling. She was eternally overjoyed Kelsey had chosen to take this journey with her and with each passing day it became harder to imagine a life without the slayer by her side. Yes, they had issues to work through but didn’t everyone? People weren’t perfect.
The saddened response passing over Kelsey’s lips created a frown on her own. A hand reached out to rest on the brunette’s shoulder, her voice softer when she spoke, “there could be a lot of reasons for that Kel. We don’t know what happened after you left. I’m sure they think about you, even if they can’t contact you. I hope. . .in time you’ll find friends here too. In any case. . .I’m always here if you need me and I know several other people with open doors.”
