    While going through the camping gear in preparation for Ancient Ways Festival, I noticed that one of our 2-person tents has gone missing. I have a vague memory of loaning it out to someone...

    If it was you, could we get it back this weekend?

    Oberon Fundraiser Update #1

    A big Thank You to the people who have donated to Oberon's medical expenses so far! Between given and promised donations, we've got about $400 to date. This is most excellent, and will cover the majority of this month's office appointment expenses.

    But - there's still the need to buy him insulin for the coming year; that'll be about another $600. So - if you haven't yet donated and wish to, here's that paypal button again - and you don't need a paypal account to use it:

    Hi everyone,

    As you may have heard, [info]purplerabbit's, [info]airshipjones, and [info]uncledark's beloved Maine Coon cat Oberon has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. The good news is that it's treatable; the bad news is that it is costly to treat. The upcoming vet visits will cost about $500, and a year's supply of insulin will cost another $500. They cannot afford this - they have even had to put off their own medical treatments for things like cavities and fibromyalgia, due to the money just not being there. They are even considering seeing if there is someone else who can afford to pay for treatments who can adopt Oberon, but it would really be best for feline and humans alike if there were a way for Oberon to stay with his people.

    If folks are able and willing to donate whatever they can towards these medical costs, that would be so very appreciated. Even small amounts are welcomed. If you can't afford to donate, please consider forwarding this post to others who might be able to. The community has come together to help others in times of need through things like disability and house fires, and I am hoping that it can come together another time to collectively help with this one.

    Please Help
    Can anyone out there pick up some brew supplies for me in San Francisco? I arranged a deal over Craigslist to acquire a batch of brewing supplies including two carboys, for a total of $10. I was hoping that someone could pick them up for me and bring them to the Warren sometime in the next month. They would need to be picked up in the next couple days and I would need to let the guy know today. Please call or email if you are willing to help. Thanks.
