Merry (belated) Christmas, and Happy Holidays and all those fun things! :D
I'm sorry I haven't been around much (although it looks like I haven't been the only one, come baaaaaaaaaack :c), but things should be starting to slow down a little bit and, yeah, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things, and I hope some (preferably all!) of you will join me? ♥?

| Longest hiatus ever? |

So, hi. If you remember me/knew me at all, I'm Nicole and I originally went on a week hiatus while I moved at the start of November. Then my ISP decided to fuck me around for a month so I've literally only just got my internet reconnected so yeah, I guess I'm back. It might take me a year to catch up so bear with me. To be honest, I'm still trying to work out if it's worth essentially restarting the six characters I have left (or if I have the energy to do it yet again) since I'm guessing any plot I had is sort of gone by now.
For reference that'd be Adam, Frankie, Monty, Amy, Tristan and Milo. I'm still trying to work that out anyway but if anyone wants any of them for anything or could use them for something, let me know. Or better yet, if you can come up with a reason for 6 characters to have been completely silent for 5 weeks...

HIATUS POST:
I am currently swamped with Things I Don't Want to Do (meetings, conference calls, deadlines, etc., etc., ugh.) I plan on returning on Saturday or Sunday, ideally with my sanity intact. I haven't been able to get my brain out of "not checking emails is incredibly freeing" mode. Working on that. I would like to have positive, fuzzy things to say, but mostly I'm just exhausted and I need a break from computers.

Hey, all ♥
I just wanted to drop a note and let everyone know that while I'm still going to be around throughout December, I might be a little slow. I get two days off a week right now with my regular job, but over the holiday season, I'm going to spending one or both of those days helping out at my old job, and that's before all the family shenanigans, too, so I might not be around too much. I'll still have the normal three or so hours after work most days, but, yeah, things will be a little slower on my end for a while, and I'm really sorry :c
I'll be trying to catch up on my tags over the next couple of days, so I'm sorry for the delay, but I promise I haven't forgotten about you. I have a list with all the thread-tags I owe, so don't worry ♥

Bonjour, mes amis! XD
So as I'm sure you've gather from Leah's post, I'm also going to be super slow/on at least a semi-hiatus for the next week and a half. I'm headed right to the airport after work today to go on adventures and shenanigans with our lovely mod, so I'm not gonna be around much. I'm not bringing my laptop but I am bringing my kindle, so I will be able to get online and do things. The best way to reach me will be via e-mail.
I'm gonna go ahead and say I won't be functioning properly until the 11th because jetlag and I'm gonna wanna snuggle with my puppy when I get home.

Heeeeeeeey everyone!
This is a note from me to say that my activity over the next week or so may be sporadic as I'm going on an adventure with the lovely Becka! While I'll have my computer with me and be available via email and the like, I won't be focusing too much on the game since, y'know, vacation and all. Of course, I'll still be contactable should anyone have any modly issues but I might be a little slower than usual in getting to things.
I'll be returning home on December 10th but will be back officially on the 11th, though I'm sure I'll be popping in and out before then. Daily events will be updated tomorrow as usual and lottery scenes will be posted sometime on Wednesday. If anyone has any issues of concerns, feel free to email be on the mod address or my personal one! :)

Nicole and Bella are on hiatus, Tina has been unable to respond to the A/C due to internet issues, and Jormy has already discussed her activity with me. Their characters are exempt from the activity check this time.

Ahoy ahoy, and welcome to Quisquis' second activity check!
The requirements are the same as last time:- One entry posted by your character to their journal.
- One thread with at least two replies from your character (sub-threads in mass threads DO count) OR Twenty comments on the journals over the course of the month (these need not all be from the same entry and can be from your characters' own journal).
Owls, gifts, notes, and memes do not count towards activity. Characters accepted within the past two weeks (November 14th onwards) are not required to reply to this post but may do so if they wish.
Players have until SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH to either post their activity below or contact the mod to discuss their circumstances. Likewise, if players have any questions, please contact the mod via email or the dropbox. If there are any characters who have not responded to this post with evidence of their activity by Saturday, an attempt will be made to contact them. If there is no acknowledgement by the following Monday (December 2nd), their characters will be removed from the game.

As you might have read on the events page, there's a little accident on Wednesday that involves your Slytherins :) Basically, due to a combination of unfortunate events, a couple of the largest lake-windows in the Slytherin common room are going to bust. This happens during dinner, thankfully, so the dungeons are empty, but the Slytherins come back to a lovely flood.
It will take the professors a little while to put everything back in order (don't worry, denizens of the dungeons, they will be able to restore all your stuff--yay magic!), so the Slytherins will be displaced to other dorms for the evening, with a sleeping bag and whatever was in their pockets/bags at dinner. Slytherin residents will be told to form a queue to find out where they're staying. If they have friends in a dorm (of the same gender) they can choose to go there, or if they don't/don't care, they'll be assigned a place.
Because the professors don't want to crowd the dorms, only a maximum of 2 Slytherins will be allowed to stay in each one--so reply quick to secure yours a spot! ♥ Below the cut is the current list of Slytherin characters and where they're assigned.

Hi guuuuys
So you might have noticed I totally disappeared for a bit there. I have literally no excuse for this. I mean, I guess I was ill for some of it? But mostly I've just been super lacking in creativity/motivation.
Hopefully I'll pick back up on activity now, but I guess this is just an apology... retroactive hiatus... thing.
If I missed anything/you want to plot/I owe you tags, give me a kick, all right?
