[7th june]
If I had to choose a way to start my first week back home in six years, I don't think I could have planned it better than this. I mean, I'm still not quite sure how I ended up nominated for Most Charming Smile, but at least the unexpected photo looked good? And in my first game with my new team, we won and I caught the snitch?

This was a good homecoming.

Technically after that? I'm sorry, there's no nice way to say I was a coward who may have agreed with the blood purist views I was raised with for a time. Or that I stood by and did nothing and didn't choose a side during the war.

Anyway, after that I had a rather public relationship with a Muggleborn, and my family disowned me. Then I went to Poland for six years and now I'm home.

Well, luckily the war has long ended and we all made it through. Penelope is still around, she's reasonable. Please don't fuck that up. She's the closest thing to a best friend that I have.

I couldn't not tell her what I knew. I'm sorry about that but yes, she is reasonable and I'm actually glad to know she has you.

If she's upset now, I very much doubt it's with you.

I'll reach out to her in a few days. I try to be more gentle with her. I fail at it.
