Peregrine Wildsmith is the real Captain America ([info]pipsqueak) wrote in [info]quiddtalk,

So I just received the best news ever. While I can normally expect a visit or two from various members of my family every few months, I just got word that I will get two weeks with my favorite two family members next month.

Okay, granted, that's because they're parents want to get away and have a little romantic vacation without two hyperactive seven year olds. Which, reportedly, can put a damper on making another little Wildsmith. Fine. I get to hang out with the cool ones.

How many of you are there?
In the country?
In the wild?

Are you asking about the Texas branch specifically? There's British and Australian too.

Do they share your affinity for questionable shoes?

Let's say I'm concerned about UK.

Well there are Wildsmiths in charge of Floo-Pow, but I don't deal with them much.

Boys, Dallas and Austin.

Admittedly my knowledge is minimal, but that does sound very Texan indeed...

I reckon Piper was trying to make up for the fact that she was born north of the Mason-Dixon line.

This means precisely zero to me, mate.

I'm from Texas, the South. Piper, my sister in law, is a Yank from the North. She had to get brownie points somehow.

I'm still not entirely sure of specifics, but I'll assume she was attempting to blend in?

I don't believe so. But Piper, my sister in law, was probably just making up for the fact she's a yank. My money's on the next one being Christi or Irving.
