Don't rise to him. He's either an idiot, not realising how hard the media can make things to an investigation (not to mention his ignorance of the purpose of media to expose corruption), or deluded as to how these things actually work. I think the latter worries me more.
Of course, if he's actually using his brain, he's neglecting to use the bit that protects his own organisation. Which is not a wise thing to do in public, of course... worth thinking about when we all meet to discuss strategy.
