Nonie laughed hard. More than anything, she appreciated the fact that he hadn't brought up her father once she'd dropped her last name. "Well I suppose I could be somebody," she hopped down off of her chair, which was a terrible idea. Whatever she hadn't felt from the liquor hit her all at once, and the room swayed a bit. Or maybe it was Nonie that swayed. She wasn't sure.
She gripped the back of the stool, determined not to make a fool out of herself. "Well, let's go then!" she said, cheerfully. Nonie was her most pleasant when delightfully drunk.l
