"Well that's still pretty good," he said. "It sounds stupid but I actually miss just being able to watch a game instead of studying their game plan or trying to work out how to beat them."
He nodded, happy with the table she'd pointed out and followed her into the pub.
"I haven't really thought about it yet," he admitted. "Usually just the family on Christmas Day, the last few years my brother and I have gone back to my parents house on Christmas Eve and then run around Christmas morning like five year olds." Pausing, he glanced over at her and smiled. "Uh, don't tell anyone I said that. I have to maintain some sort of dignity."
