Chris took a rather long sip of her drink before looking back up and Lincoln and answering his question. "It's been a rough week," she commented with a sigh. "Games and training and fucking Christmas shopping," Chris added shaking her head. She really did hate Christmas. Christmas was the time of the year that reminded her that her mother was dead and her father hated both her and her sister. It wasn't a great holiday, put it that way. Sure, Chris loved spending time around Antonia's, playing with the kids but at the end of the day? Christmas still sucked.
"What about you? Excited for Christmas?" Chris really didn't see why he would be but a lot of people seemed to be looking forward to Christmas. Which was a bit silly, since hardly any of them could even count as Christian. Suppose there were the presents, at least. Chris liked presents.
