It would have made her feel better to know that he, too, was nervous. He'd been on a million and one dates and he'd never been nervous. It was a new experience for him and he wasn't entirely sure he liked it. When she stepped out of the fireplace, however, some his tension drained away at the sight of her. Really? How could anyone be intimidated by someone in polka dot tights. The image made a smile tug at the corner of his lips.
"Hi," he greeted, offering her an easy smile. Taking a step forward, he helf a hand out in an offer to take her bag for her. He was sure she could handle it herself, but it was the poliet thing to do. "How was work?"
He was almost afraid of the answer? He was still quite under the truth serumn and Merlin only knew the extent of the backlash from the lovely little rumour about the two of them. He supposed there was a grain of truth in it, but he certainly didn't appreciate the freely written details provided to the public. Details, he himself, wasn't even aware of.
