Emma wasn't sure what to think of this whole expedition. The idea that Adrian Pucey wanted to date her was beyond comprehension but she was fairly certain he wasn't lying and while she was extremely nervous, she was a little excited. Of course, her insecurites were starting to get to her and she was beyond nervous. She'd never been on a date and what if Adrian expected... things? She wasn't capable of giving him anything like that. She'd never really even been snogged and while she knew that was strange for someone her age. She didn't think she'd ever want to be involved in anything of an intimate nature. Biting her lip, Emma tugged her hair and stepped into the floo, bag in hand. This was going to be awful.
The spinning and twirling left her a bit dizzy and she stumbled out of the fireplace, soot everywhere and coughing. She hated flooing. It was inconvenient and dirty. Looking up, her eyes wide and nervous, she gave Adrian a smile. Brushing the mess off her dress, she set her bag down and straightened her outfit. She'd come from work, not bothering to change into something a bit more casual. Well, for Emma, casual was trousers instead of a skirt or dress. But, she'd wanted to look nice.
"Hello," she said, tugging at her dress, straightening herself.
