Even though Lavender typically had a way of being a happy force in a world, that didn't mean she didn't have her flaws. One of them being nosy, the other hating to lose. The second someone wanted something badly she tended to want it more. That was how she ended up spending a chunk of her trust fund on Marcus Flint's secret. When she'd found it was his she felt horrible and confused and horrible. Adrian's secret wasn't really that... dark? Lavender wasn't sure what the right word was for, and she wasn't ever going to tell anyone about Adrian's secret she felt horrible about it... But not as bad as she did for Marcus. Marcus's secret was more difficult for her to talk. Part of her thought she could be the girl in it and it broke her heart thinking that was how she felt about it.
So, she decided with his secret she had to tell him in person. The two of them were so completely different but she was really starting to like Marcus, he was interesting, and something about him made her want to get to know him better all the time. So here she was sitting on her couch nervous as can be. In a pink sweatshirt and a pair of nearly hidden shorts, Lavender was curled up on her couch biting her thumb nail as she waited for Marcus to show up.
When she saw her fire light up and Marcus appear, his expression wasn't as well happy as she normally saw it around her, or at least not as interested. "Hey." She said unraveling herself from her curled up state. "How are you?" She asked getting up and making her way to him to kiss his cheek.
