Okay, so this was an awful plan. Who in their right mind decided that the thing to do when they were upset was to go to their ex boyfriend's place and be miserable? Then again, Chris had never been known for being the most considered person, really. It was this secret thing that Witch Weekley had tricked people into. Chris assumed that majority of people would be concerned about the breach of privacy and about the prospect that their secret might come out. This was not the case with Chris. Sure, she didn't want people to find out what her secret was becuase it was, well... it would bring up things she didn't want to talk about. No, what bothered Chris was the fact that she had never thought of this. She knew what her secret was, she had always known, but to see it written down in a fucking magazine of all things was just... unsettling. And really upsetting.
So Chris decided to go to the one person who could always make her feel better and wasn't actually related to her father - Miles. It had been quite a while since Chris had actually wanted to see Miles because she felt shit. In fact, majority of the time, Chris felt really good. Sure, she had issues, everyone had issues - as these secrets had proven - but in general? Chris didn't give a shit about why she acted the way she did. It was mostly the fact that now she was confronted with it and Chris did not want to cope. She wanted to ignore the issue and crawl up in a ball on Miles' sofa and listen to whatever the fuck he had been doing lately and stuff her face with chocolate. That was a decent plan. Presumably if you didn't seek your ex for comfort.
It didn't take long for the door to open after Chris had knocked on it and the first thing she did was hug Miles. It felt odd, because it had been so long since she actually had touched the guy in any sort of familiar sense, part from that time when she slapped his ass. But Chris really needed the hug. On her way here she had considered bringing up the secret she suspected was Miles', the one about the ring, but had decided against it. At the end of the day, it was none of Chris' business and she really, really hoped that he hadn't bought her an engagement ring because, well, she had cheated on him and probably broken his heart and also, they had been together for less than a year, surely that was not appropriate? It was mostly the fact that she just didn't want to feel guiltier than she already did.
"I brought chocolate and I thought we could order pizza. I really want pizza. In fact, I want so much pizza it could kill me." Chris said once she had let go of Miles - quite reluctantly, mind you. She walked in the living room and threw herself on the sofa. "I also brought so much weed with me we could smoke out a school." She added before putting a bottle of vodka on the table as well. "And vodka." Self destruction was the thing Chris was best at.
