Terence couldn't help but laugh when Adrian said that the cuddling and parenthood had scared him off. It was amusing, because at the end of the day, few years back? Terence would've felt very similarly. In fact, parenthood still scared the shit out of him, but he had a fantastic mother to take an example from in how to be a great parent and Terence did try his best. He thought that for what it was worth he did make a good dad to Elle, even if he hadn't always been there at the beginning. "It's okay," Terence commented. "I think I'll live without you marrying me."
The beer tasted nice, as Terence took another swig. He couldn't help but roll his eyes when Adrian brought Emma up again. "Does it mean you're sad and a bit pathetic?" He offered, because in all fairness, that was what it was beginning to look like. Adrian clearly didn't think that asking Emma out would be a good idea, so therefore Terence was sure he'd have to listen to more of these sob stories and all he really wanted to do was shake Adrian up. And maybe steal his owl and handwriting and write to Emma. That might be a plan.
Terence wasn't sure whether his conscious would win this one. And whether risking his life would be worth it, because Adrian would probably kill him. Hmm.
