As downing 30 shots in a short span was never a very good idea, particularly when one wanted to make it out the door without finding themselves faced down in a puddle of their own vomit, After six or seven shots (he hadn't really been counting), he excused himself from the table with the promise to be back shortly with more shots for the lot of them. Mostly, however, he'd just spotted Lia behind the bar and wanted the chance to talk to her before she got too swamped with work.
He grinned at her choice of attire. Very Lia and after the majority of the girls he'd seen that evening, very refreshing. "I wondered when you'd show up, love," he responded, leaning across the counter and dropping a friendly kiss to her cheek. It wasn't even something he thought about anymore. Just usual greeting. "You look lovely as always."
He couldn't blame her though, not with a place like this one to run. They did a good job and it was quite popular. "So when are you going to let me take you on vacation, huh? The slopes are going to be pretty fantastic in a few weeks, you know."
