"Honey... we need to work on your taste buds," Zach said tsking as she ordered her usual white wine. "Pretty sweet girls like you are supposed to drink sweet and colourful fruity drinks. We need to have an experiment night for liquor at your place one night," Zach suggested, since that was much cheaper than doing that at the bar.
He laughed though when she referred to Adrian as a 'gentleman'. "Have you had your daily quota of Adrian Pucey?" he asked and looked over her shoulder at the taller blonde. Damn waste he was straight. And he was also so annoying at times that it probably wouldn't be worth it if he did bend the other way.
"That's why you're such a sweetheart," he said smiling when Emma said that letting him down would be the bad thing about her not going out. He knew that she had been through something terrible at school. And while he was sympathetic, Emma did need to try to have a normal life too. She was young, and she most 21 year olds were social butterflies. Zach knew he needed to ease her in.
"Oh yes I am. I can't pass that up," Zach said scoffing as if it was ridiculous he wouldn't. He grinned as her wrinkled nose though. "You have my permission to leave, if I get absolutely too drunk to stay with you, and go find other company."
