Hi, everyone!

Welcome to the latest update on the QAF universe. Things have been quiet for a while, but fasten your safety belts, fandom is getting busy again!!

Firstly, a report on Xiefest2, held last weekend in Michigan. xie_xie_xie and happier_bunny hosted an amazing gathering, with fans traveling from the USA and Europe. We were treated to a menu of food from the series (which was a lot more interesting and varied than you might at first imagine!) including tuna casserole, ziti, Hunter's 16th birthday cake and Jenny Rebecca sundaes. You can read more about the food side of things here. But it wasn't just that kind of feast. We were treated to rainbow-themed gift bags, and a fabulous DVD of fanvid goodness. We watched many episodes from the series, in particular the reunion-themed episodes, and discussed the series, fandom, and Brian's psyche deep into the night. We discussed an enormous range of topics including our favorite fanfic, fandom wank, and Justin's blowjob technique. It was tremendous fun, everybody who attended had a wonderful time, even though several of us had never met before, even online. Now, exciting news for all. happier_bunny will be hosting this year's QAF Gift Exchange, and you are invited to take part!! For anyone who hasn't participated before, this is your chance to exchange QAF themed gifts, make new fandom friends, and exercise your literary or artistic talents.
