Spencer squeezed Kelsey's hand as the nurse went to see if his mother was up to having visitors. She had mumbled to him about how excited she would be to hear that he son was here for a visit. And let it slip that she'd been hinting at missing him. When she was lucid, that is. It was something that should have made him happy to hear, but it just managed to make him feel guilty. Guilty that he didn't take the time to visit her more often. He had the time. There was nothing to hoping a flight for an extend weekend to pop in for a visit. But he let his fears get the better of him again, and he avoid visiting her. Turning his daily letters into two, to try and soothe his guilty mind and stomach.

“I'm surprised she hasn't disowned me.” He said softly. “I haven't been a very good son.”

Greg was bouncing in the back seat of the cab. Not only was he getting to see his dog and his best friend, but he was getting to introduce them to his girlfriend. He was probably more excited about that then anything. “You're going to love Stokes. Both of them.” He said, smiling over at her as the pulled up in front of Nick's apartment complex.

He handed Lenny some cash and darted out of the car, spotting Nick walking Stokes. Running up to him, he practically tackled Nick and Stokes jumped on them happily.
