"I like the way you think, can I keep you?" She smirked. She leaned into him, watching to see which lights were still on in their unit. Aaron's office was dark as was JJ's meaning Andrea was at some seedy little bar whining to get some guy to buy her a mojito. She wasn't surprised to see Jason's light on and the door open, as though he were waiting for someone to walk in and deliver news on Spencer...like opening the door would waste a moment that they could tell him good or bad news.
The light at Spencer's desk had been out for some time. Emily however was sitting at her desk, lips pursed in thought.
"Yo, Em. Time for bed, go home," Penelope half yawned.
"I'm waiting for Sara," Emily said, not even looking up from her paperwork. Penelope didn't want to say it...but she'd be waiting a long time.
"Slip a soma in her cherry coke and call it a night," Penelope stated. "See you tomorrow."
"Night guys," Emily said softly, still not looking away from the lines of barely legible handwriting she'd just scribbled out.
Penelope still clung to Derek, as if letting go of him meant she'd let go altogether.
