The Story
Last year, I went to see the Indigo Girls in San Francisco. The opening act was singer Brandi Carlile, and she performed a song called "The Story." It was absolutely beautiful, and I bought it the very next day. And as I was listening, I thought to myself: This is about Brian.
Yes, yes, I know normally I'm all about the Justin, but I love Brian like woah (shut up, I do) and of course, his story is also about Justin. And I kept listening to the song and thinking about the lyrics and hearing the little vid-muse in my brain going THIS VID MUST BE MADE.
Tragically my vid-muse has yet to get together with my brain, hands, DVDs, or computer to actually learn how to make a vid, and given the vast amounts of spare time I do not have, I wouldn't advise the holding of breath until that day comes.
The opposite of tragically, this fandom is full of lovely kind sweet giving vidders, and none is so lovely kind sweet and giving as the amazing qafmaniac, who was gracious enough to squee her ass off over the lyrics and beauty of the song, and rush out and make this beautiful video for me.
I hope you love it as much as I do!
It's currently on YouTube, although they keep thinking her vids are porn and yanking her accounts. But for now, it's here.

All of these lines across my face Tell you the story of who I am So many stories of where I've been And how I got to where I am But these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to It's true...I was made for you
I climbed across the mountain tops Swam all across the ocean blue I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules But baby I broke them all for you Because even when I was flat broke You made me feel like a million bucks You do I was made for you
You see the smile that's on my mouth It's hiding the words that don't come out And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed They don't know my head is a mess No, they don't know who I really am And they don't know what I've been through like you do And I was made for you...
All of these lines across my face Tell you the story of who I am So many stories of where I've been And how I got to where I am But these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to It's true...I was made for you
