No expense for upholstery cleaning of Brian's office sofa. No expense for the impromptu, out-of-office lunches for the staff. No expense for the uber-discreet car service for trips to the airport and back. No expense for replacing broken-off shower heads in the executive washroom, or for repairing the glass-top to the conference table, nor for replacing Brian's computer monitor.

I punch up Brian's office extension.

"What is it, Theodore?"

"Justin needs to come to Pittsburgh for a visit within the next week, or my budget is going to be thrown completely off for the month!"
