Then, after that, I had this teeny fic idea and ohfreckle was kind enough to take it as an "extra." Many Thanks to my beta jule1122! Rating: Totally tame Summary: Christmastime at Brian and Justin's
“Honey, I’m home!” Brian singsonged as he came in the back door of Britin.
“Hey,” Justin called out lazily.
Brian found him in the den, sitting on the floor near the Christmas tree and staring intently at the screen of his laptop. Brian shrugged off his coat. “It’s fucking cold out there. Wanna come help me warm up?” He smiled wickedly.
Justin, still focused on the computer, didn’t seem to notice.
“What are you doing?” Brian walked over to Justin, looked over his shoulder and stopped short. The screen revealed one of Justin and Brian’s wedding photos, both of them smiling at something just off camera. Emblazoned across the top were the words, "Ho, ho, ho.” Santa hats were awkwardly Photoshopped on their heads. Justin grinned. “Our Christmas cards. I wanted something extra-special for our first Christmas after...you know.”
Brian didn’t say a word. “I’ve been working on them all afternoon,” Justin continued. “But now I’m starting to reconsider...maybe the "ho, ho, ho" font is too small. Or maybe I should make it green instead of red. What do you think?”
Brian’s mouth opened and closed a couple of times, but he couldn’t seem to form any words. Justin looked up at him innocently. “Well?” he asked, when Brian didn’t answer. Finally, Brian attempted to speak. “It’s…” he hesitated.
Unable to contain himself any longer, Justin burst into raucous laughter. “Oh my God, Brian, I’m kidding!” He lay back on the floor, shaking with laughter. “I can’t believe you fell for that!”
“I didn’t fall for anything, you little shit.” Brian frowned then grabbed the computer and carried it to the sofa. Justin got up and followed him, but Brian turned and waved him off. He made a few changes and showed Justin. “Ho, ho, homo holidays,” read the caption, now in an extremely gaudy green font. Justin grinned. “Perfect!” he laughed, pushing the laptop aside. “I can’t wait to send them out!”
He climbed up to his knees and kissed Brian soundly. Brian kissed him back and soon they both forgot all about Christmas cards.
