It's Even Worse Than Last Year XVII-XX
Title: It's Even Worse Than Last Year
Author: xheartrockx
Prompt(s): Do you wanna hold me?, Torrential downpour, You love me so much, History repeats itself
Notes: This is the sequel to The Worst Holiday Season Ever – which you should read in order for this to make sense. This starts shortly after Thanksgiving and follows the prompts in order. Sometimes it's one prompt!day per fic!day, sometimes I use more than one prompt to tell a day in the fic.
Just Dance
"Is it just me or is this place even more gay before Christmas?" Justin curls his arm around Brian's waist as they overlook the crowd at Babylon. "I've been cruised by three angels and a snowman before I even got to you."
"It's not just you. It's been like this since Thanksgiving." Brian kisses him soundly, gladly drinking in the sight of his partner after the planning-marathon with Emmett.
"Listen, about Christmas... there is something... "
"No, no more party planning for tonight," Brian interrupts.
"Wait. What? What planning?"
Caught in the act, Brian swallows. "Nothing. Come on, let's dance."

Let It Rain
"Somehow this would be a lot nicer if it was coming down as snow." Justin has to shout over the pouring rain. It's only a short walk from the car to the front door but somehow they are completely drenched when they get inside. "And I could watch you get all sweaty shoveling the driveway."
"I never shovel the driveway."
"A boy can dream."
Without preamble, Brian has Justin against the wall, hands and mouth all over.
"Listen, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." Justin says when he pulls back for a breath.
"Will you just shut up?"

I want it all
They make it as far as staircase which really isn't the most comfortable place in the house to fuck on. It doesn't matter much, though, because they are both longing for it. Right then. Right there.
Brian almost doesn't care that he will have a bruised knee tomorrow. All that talk about marriage and ceremonies and whatnot has made his adrenaline spike for no reason at all along with his testosterone.
Emmett has been right. He won't change his mind. He wants to get married. He wants all that. And most of all, he wants all of that with Justin.

History Repeats Itself
"Will you hear me out now?" Justin asks as they come out of their post-coital bliss.
"What, dear?" Brian walks over to the bar to get himself a drink.
"I've been offered to hang a couple of my paintings in a gallery in the village."
"That's great." Brian could swear he spotted an undertone in Justin's voice.
"There is a catch, though."
Before he even hears Justin words, Brian feels his heart sink. He has developed a talent over the years for expecting the worst and it has never failed him. It doesn't, now.
"I won't be home for Christmas."
