Gusmas 2011: The Worst Holiday Season Ever XXXII+XXXIII Title: The Worst Holiday Season Ever Setting: post-513 with Justin still in New York Summary: It's not like Brian hates the Holiday season. He loathes it. And on Thanksgiving, Justin gives him one more reason to. Author's Note This starts on a Thanksgiving and follows all 37 prompts in order. Sometimes it's one prompt!day per fic!day, sometimes I use more than one prompt to tell a day in the fic. Does that make sense? I hope it does when you read it.
Prompts: # December 25 - Kwanzaa # December 26 - Talk To Me
Best Behavior “This place is a mess.” Justin stands in the middle of their living room like it's a battleground.
“We should just skip Christmas next year.” Brian slumps down on the sofa, drink in hand.
“Maybe we're more Kwanzaa kind of people.”
Brian snorts. “You think?”
Justin curls up next to him, stealing his drink. “I noticed you were on your best behavior today.”
“Always am.” Brian wraps an arm around Justin' shoulder. “Thanks to you.”
“Thanks to me?” Justin eyes him curiously.
Brian ignores him, kisses his temple. “Merry Christmas, Sunshine.”
Sacrifices “You haven't said anything yet.” Justin rolls onto his stomach where they have – yet again – fallen asleep in front of the fire.
“About what?”
“About me moving back.”
Brian quirks an eyebrow. “I didn't know you were asking for my approval.”
Justin props his chin up on his hands. “Are you giving it?”
Brian turns on his side to look at him. He hesitates with his answer, mostly to watch Justin start to squirm. Then he leans into him and gives him a slow, deep kiss.
