Gusmas 2011: The Worst Holiday Season Ever XIV-XV Title: The Worst Holiday Season Ever Setting: post-513 with Justin still in New York Summary: It's not like Brian hates the Holiday season. He loathes it. And on Thanksgiving, Justin gives him one more reason to. Author's Note This starts on a Thanksgiving and follows all 37 prompts in order. Sometimes it's one prompt!day per fic!day, sometimes I use more than one prompt to tell a day in the fic. Does that make sense? I hope it does when you read it.
Prompts: # December 9 - Books # December 10 - Lost in the City
Contemporary Expressionism “You know, there is one thing I won't miss when you're gone.” Ella picks up a thick volume on contemporary expressionism. “Tripping over your books all the time.”
“You start to sound just like him. He used to complain about me leaving stuff around.” Justin sighs dramatically, closing yet another moving box. How he has come to gather so much stuff is a mystery.
Ella grins. “Maybe it's not us. Maybe it's you. You're a mess.”
Justin scowls at her. “Remind me to never let the two of you stay in the same room unsupervised.”
Get Lost “At least tell me, you'll miss me.”
Justin raises his eyebrows at his soon-to-be ex-roommate. “Of course, I will. Besides, I will be back. And I expect this couch to be empty for me when I do.”
“If you'll have an empty room for me at your country manor when I come to visit.”
“Room? Have a wing.”
Ella pulls him into a tight hug. “There's another thing I won't miss.”
“And what is that?”
“Rescuing you when you get lost.”
Justin pushes her at arm's length. “That was that one time.”
