“So you can shoot them down ahead of time?” Brian arches a brow, but isn’t about to ruin Justin’s sudden good mood. He gives another put-upon sigh as he carefully pushes himself to his feet. It isn’t quite so easy at forty-five. “Red or white, my prince? Your wish, as always, is my greatest—“
The ungrateful little shit soaking in his bubble bath splashes him with water. “Whatever goes best with the expensive chocolate you’re bringing along with it.”

“Next time, I’m the one queening out and demanding restitution,” Brian mutters when he returns a few minutes later bearing a tray with a wine bottle, stemware, and all the chocolate he could scrounge from the pantry. He pours one of the glasses to the brim with burgundy and passes it over.
“Perfect,” Justin murmurs as he takes first a sip, then a gulp. “So, your first idea is…”
Brian pours a glass for himself. “Shopping, of course,” he replies. “Clothes for me, and … a bookstore for you. One with art books, of course. Full-color and glossy and everything.”

“You’re kidding me.” Justin laughs again, nearly choking on his wine in the process.
“Not romantic enough?” Brian sounds hurt, so Justin reaches a dripping-wet hand to pat at his leg.
“It’s a good start,” Justin amends. “We’ll get you more fabulous clothes, me a few of those glossy all-color art books, and then we’ll head off into some unfamiliar city without even a map, wandering through the streets and window-shopping as we go until we’re hopelessly lost.”
Brian frowns at his wet pants-leg but leans over to catch Justin’s lips in a kiss.
