Justin was wrong.
Brian showed up in New York the next weekend, with keys to a four-star hotel. "If you can stand leaving all this behind for a night or two," he'd said, casting an eye around the crowded Village walk-up Justin would never call "home."
To be fair to Justin, Brian did buy a new wardrobe while he was there.
