The 37 Days Of Gusmas
Title: Price Wars Author: vl_redreign Prompt: Shopping
Notes: 4 tonight.
At first, Molly wasn’t sure what to make of Tucker. She thought he was cute, but, dating her mom? No way! Then she noticed how her mother seemed to smile more. Of course, Justin hated him, but Molly thought that he was just jealous. She didn’t know why; he had Brian, and Brian was hot. And then she remembered that they had broken up. Again.
They were so weird.
She and Tucker were shopping for her mom, and having a great time. She realized that the upside of him dating her mom was that he wanted her to like him.

“Hey, Molly, what do you think? Will she like this?” Tucker asked, holding up a gorgeous red V-neck sweater. She touched it, then checked the tag. Cashmere.
“Oh, yeah, she’ll love it. You should get that black Michael Kors skirt, too.”
“You think?”
“I’m a girl. Trust me.”
Tucker handed the sweater to the sales clerk, and asked for the skirt.
“Molly, what size?”
“Size eight. You need to remember that. If you get a size too big, you’ll be sleeping on the couch.”
Tucker shook his head.
“Oh, and get that bottle of Mademoiselle. She loves that.”
“Thanks, Molly.”

Brian’s door was closed, and Ted had a question. He looked at Cynthia.
“Oh, no you don’t. He said he wasn’t to be disturbed.”
“Does he have someone in there?”
“No. He’s” – she made air quotes – “shopping.”
“Oh. I can wait.”
“You’re a lot smarter than you look.”
Ted glared at Cynthia, who laughed.
“CYNTHIA!!”
She sighed and eased the door open. “You bellowed?”
“Get in here and find me a tote bag.”
She shooed him away from the computer. “Louis Vuitton?”
