Kinnetik was bustling with activity. Brian was on the phone and his cell phone was ringing insistently next to him. He was typing on his computer as he talked to his client. People were in and out of his office; Ted shoving papers under his nose, Cynthia “talking” to him with her hands in a language only the two of them understood, Duncan dropping a storyboard on his desk as Brian placated his frustrated customer. The place was a madhouse.
Until Justin walked in. Almost instantly, the activity ceased, people left and Brian ended his phone call. Kinnetik could wait.
