Grandpa, hurry up!
I’m coming, I’m coming. He said. His steps are slow and heavy. His aged hand reached for his grandson’s shoulders; holding onto it for support.
You’re getting taller, my child. He said to the little boy who smiled sweetly; his dark hair and hazel eyes reminded him of his father.
How are you, old man? Gus came up to him, taking his hand and guiding him. Like the boy, he has a smile on his handsome face.
Still old, he replied cheerfully as Gus helped him climb into the car. This is their ritual every other weekend.

They got out of the car and he led the way. A bouquet of red roses were handed to him as he near a gravestone. Silence is everywhere; surrounding this sacred moment like an echo of a holy prayer in an empty cathedral.
I miss you. He whispered. I miss you terribly.
His bony hands that used to paint breathtaking images lightly touched the name on the stone. It read Brian Kinney.
