*Challenge #39: Liberty Avenue*
Title: Liberty Avenue
Notes: It felt nice to write something again today. Un-beta'd.
And the condom goes to: Brian, who I think actually earned this one instead of getting it from me because I love him. ;-) He needs to win again...it's been a while!

Liberty Avenue was jammed with fire trucks, ambulances, police cars. The rain-slicked asphalt reflected the flashing lights, adding to the frantic atmosphere. People huddled in small shivering groups looking stunned and shocked. Others scrambled through the throng, calling out names hoarsely as they searched for loved ones. No longer festive and gay, Liberty Avenue was forbidding and cold.

Brian pushed down panic as his car approached, thinking only of the people he knew were there. Then his mind flashed to one. “Please, just let him be ok,” droned in his brain repeatedly as he joined the throng on the street.

Thanks...does it sound silly to say I'm glad you got goosebumps? Just 'cause that means it meant something to you, ya know?

:D He never has to do a thing for me to give him a condom, but I liked that he actually deserved this one! Thanks for reading and commenting.

You captured the moment perfect.

We all know that Brian was terrified at the thought that something had happened to Justin.

I really like this description, any movie that has that kind of scene (rain slicked asphalt) and something bad happens is really memorable to me.

Good job!

Thanks. I think that isn't really an original drabble because I just described what we all saw in 510, but I did enjoy writing it.
