Justin stared out their bedroom window, the city was quiet beneath them, covered in a blanket of white.

“Hey,” Brian came up behind him. “Your mother sent me to find you. It’s time for dinner.”

Justin leaned against him. “Okay.”

Brian turned him around, studied his face. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” Justin shook his head. “Everything’s perfect. We’re here together,” he looked at their rings. “Our families are here for our fucking anniversary dinner, and you’re not even freaking out. It’s perfect.”

Brian pressed their foreheads together. “It’s not perfect. It’s just us.”

Justin relaxed, kissing Brian softly. Dinner could wait.
