Wow! That was... That was... painful? A colossal waste of time? Like fingernails scratching on a blackboard? I feel like sticking sharpened pencils in my eyes right now.

See, I have this little compulsive streak. When I start reading something, I have to finish it. No matter how bad it is. Maybe it's the eternal optimist in me that keeps hoping it'll get better sooner or later. I wasn't fully awake when I started reading this thing, otherwise I might have paid a little more attention to the comments.

I need a fic transfusion right about now, so I'm gonna find me some kick-ass challenge fics to recover from this. :)
