I haven't been to the CoffeeClub for a while so have only just seen this. Very late in the day, but I can't help commenting:

No, there is no way I can imagine Justin saying or thinking he was lucky, or Brian saying or thinking Justin was lucky. How ridiculous!

They both made mistakes and there are all kinds of reasons why they shouldn't be together, but here is the thing: they love one another. I buy the love story. Brian always wanted Justin in his life. He had too much pride to ask Justin to come back to him, but he kept himself in Justin's life. In the end Justin had to chase Brian, but only because of Brian's pride and because he didn't want to be hurt again. He wanted Justin to be sure, so Justin had to do the chasing.
