Although Eri had flinched, she hadn't screamed when the first monsters she had ever seen suddenly appeared in all their repulsive glory, and she hadn't screamed when Baseball Cap Boy moved to point the not-a-gun at his head, only to lose the weapon to clumsiness. But she did scream when the other boy caused some, some thing to instantly materialize from nowhere beside him, and she moved closer to the much more composed vice president as "Midgard" cast some sort of magic spell at the monsters.
She soon saw the mistake of standing next to Yori as he also proceeded to summon his "Skirnir," and it caused Eri to scream again, as it slipped her mind that perhaps making such loud noises might attract more shadows to them.
Instead she demanded, as she was officially in hysterics: "What. Is. THAT?!"
Eri took several steps backwards from the boys only to stop when she heard her shoe make a loud squishy noise. She looked down to see another one of the monsters reach out its hand to grab her ankle, but this time, she screamed and unthinkingly pressed down on the button of the forgotten pocket watch in her left hand.
That last scream was cut off as she stared in wonder at what she herself had summmoned: a sleek warrior maiden made of shining metal and built with armor raised an impossibly heavy shield and brought it down with a large crash upon the head of the shadow, which disappeared instantly. The Persona turned her helmeted head slightly towards Eri, and although it had no face, Eri could hear its disembodied voice in her head.
Eri's voice, now a bit hoarse from all the screaming, murmured, "Roskva."
