Finally, it's time for this post.
This here is Adrien Burgess, played by Richard Madden (the king of the north). Adrien is a Scottish actor best known for playing Merry in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Since then he's been in a bunch of other great films and has currently crowned himself king of the nerds, since he's been Sherlock Holmes, Professor X, and part of the Torchwood team all around the same time. Basically Adrien came from really humble beginnings. His family had very little money and were terrified when he said he wanted to become an actor, because it's so financially unstable. But he went to drama school and was cast in LOTR almost immediately after. During the filming of LOTR, he met ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dutherington, who has been his boyfriend ever since. The two of them live in San Francisco and live a relatively normal life. Adrien is rather shy and humble and isn't a fan of the big hollywood red carpet type things. He likes to hang out with his mates and travel a lot, but he's very careful with his finances and doesn't feel the need to be flashy or anything like that. Basically, he's very low-key despite what he does for a living.
He's got a close friend in wutherington and a past hook-up in snclr (which dutherington is not too happy about). Other than that, I'd love a solid group of friends for him, connections with his co-stars, and anything else you can think of!

Out of curiosity, would he be wanted here for lines or just in general? His bio and credits are located here! He's basically a hybrid of Matthew Gray Gubler ("Criminal Minds") and Leigh Whannell (creator of the Saw series/Insidious).

hello hello! i've just put in her app so i thought i'd do one of these. this is dita martise. she is a french/italian brit who has the credits of florence welch (florence + the machine); her pb is lady gaga. although, alas, she doesn't go about wearing lobsters on her head, she is known a little for having an eccentric sense of style and a love of performance art. she tends to come off as fairly dark and intense at first, mostly because that's... really how she is; it takes a little while for her to warm up completely to people and let them see how easygoing she can be. she is very affectionate with her friends but does have a more aggressive, controlling side; when she's hurt or upset, she shows it as anger. it's unspoken knowledge that she's a lesbian and since she's never outright advertised it, it hasn't impacted her career. i'd love any lines/connections you can toss at me!

hello, hello, hello! this is alison ashley, a 36 year old actress. she's currently starring as leslie knope on parks and recreation and she was annie in bridesmaids, but if you're old school - she was punky brewster in the 80's and becca thatcher on life goes on in the 90's. she gave up serious acting a few years back when she realized how much more she enjoyed comedy but she's got almost 30 years of acting under her belt and thus, her credits are here, as is her bio and everything else. her only sl is a former co-star in kunitz so i need everything!

hello! this is paolo dayton, an ex-child actor and current musician who sounds like bon iver. he's 25 and was born to an italian mother and american father in washington before moving to los angeles when he was a toddler. his parents are pretty much the definition of stage parents and he started acting when he was four before quitting just as his career was getting big when he was 15. he stayed out of the spotlight for a couple of years but the attention was on him again when he started dating remy when he was 17. the relationship lasted five years and throughout this time the press made him out to be a dried up child star who was riding on remy's fame coattails, even if really the main reason he quit acting was because the media attention didn't sit well with him, and he remained a source of interest when they broke up three years ago due to him just starting to release music.
he put out his first album independently in 2007 and then through a label in 2008, and has been present on the music scene ever since. after breaking up with remy, he sold his apartment in california and most of his worldly possessions and bought his beloved volkswagen danbury se which is his main residence to this day. he stays in hotels pretty often when he's touring, but generally he loves the freedom of his van and will talk at anyone who will listen about the joys of a nomadic lifestyle. personality wise he's fairly guarded and incredibly untrusting of fame and the general showbiz industry due to his early experiences with hollywood. he has a dry sense of humour, a love of marijuana and beer, and a boston terrier called frank.
generally he's pretty good company because he's a relaxed, go-with-the-flow sort but at the same time he has a complete phobia of settling down and hasn't had a long term relationship since remy, claiming he's sworn off them. so all that said, i would love some lines! a few solid friendship lines would be great (and a best friend even), a couple of ex-flings, people he's converted to the joys of camping, actors who were in the business 2000 or prior who he'd know from his movie-making days, people he's met at festivals, etc. anything would be great! drop me a line if you want to brainstorm and lastly, i am very sorry for the tl;dr.

hullo all, this would be will van der velde, fargo native, aged 45. he's a director/writer by trade and is blessed with the stylings of tarsem singh, lars von trier, nicolas winding refn, and julie taymor. consequently he'd probably be best known for being fired from the stage adaptation of spiderman ( which he is still very bitter about, as people still accuse him of attempted murder ). personality wise he's severely lacking in ego, he's very earnest, tries to be honest but dislikes talking about himself. he is currently nursing a prescription painkiller abuse problem at the hand of his chronic insomnia, but is genial enough when he's gotten some sleep. he's worked with creegan for their unstaged production, and is apocalypse rivals with aura, but other than that, he's got nothing solid! his directory is here, so let's work something out!

Hi, everyone! Hopefully, if I can get my ass in gear, she'll be applied in time for adds tomorrow, so I'd love to get some lines figured out for her. This is Lilian Mischler, a 25 year old Texas native who's credits are here. She had a really normal childhood, the daughter of an architect and a preschool teacher, and was raised on the pageant circuit, so she's got a pretty thick skin. When she was 17, shortly after winning Miss Dallas and failing to place as Miss Texas, she moved out to Los Angeles to be with her older brother, who'd been there for a few years already. She got her first movie shortly after (completely by accident that mostly consisted just of being in the right place at the right time, really) and has worked relatively steadily since. Nothing too spectacular, but she's just happy to be working at all. She's a very outgoing person and tends to be a bit nosy and maternal, and she's got it in her head that she's a fabulous match maker, so she's constantly setting people up. She's very nurturing and likes to think she can "fix" people, which is probably half the reason she wound up attracted to her husband, bissett, in the first place.
As far as lines go, she could use anything and everything! I'd love to be super cliche and have a Lea Michele for a best friend, but honestly, I'll take anything you can throw her way. Some friends, lines with co-stars, fellow homebodies, maybe a serious boyfriend or two (she's too much of a stick in the mud for flings or anything, haha) pre-2008. Maybe even someone she left for her husband, or something! But anyway, I'm always up for brainstorming, so I'm sure we can get something awesome worked out.

Hello! So I am hopefully going to be applying this Ryan Gosling PB soon and I wanted to do a storyline post while I write his bio. This is Spencer Bissett and he's a 30 year old actor with the following credits. If any of these are taken, please let me know. I looked through the pending credits but I may have missed a couple! Spencer was raised by a single mother in Nashville, TN. His father walked out on them when he was a toddler and he never saw him again. Even though Spencer's mother eventually remarried and had more children, he never felt as if he belonged and was quite the rebellious little fucker. Spencer was the kid who was constantly getting into fights and who spent more of his time in the principal's office than in class. After graduating, he decided that he was bored of Nashville and hopped on a Greyhound and headed to NYC. He modeled for a year (despite that he was very difficult and openly hated it) which lead to his acting career. Since then, he's become known as a very troubled actor who is actually quite talented but a total fuck up. He's constantly getting into fights and is very scrappy, argues with his directors or co-workers if he disagrees with something, and drinks like a fish and pops painkillers like M&M's. He has never actually gone to rehab since he's convinced that he can "cure" himself - well, at least to the point where he can work for a few months and stay sober until the shoot is over. When he's sober he is a really decent and hardworking guy but he's mostly either drunk, high, or both.
Line-wise he is married to mischler and they have been together for three years. He's also the cousin of odeus (Spencer's father and Matthew's mother are siblings). I could use anything else, to be honest. Best friends of both genders, people who want him to get clean, people he's feuded with before, maybe a woman he was allegedly seeing on the side (it'd be a rumor but they could be drug or party buddies), exes prior to 2008, anything. Think of him as the male Lindsay Lohan or the acting version of the late and great Johnny Cash. I am up for brainstorming fun lines with anyone who wants them.

hi! this is remy augustin! baby sister to aura and incoming athieu. best friend to vanna. she's 23, french-canadian, and i don't want to say she's dumb as a post but how about we just say she's not the brightest crayon in the box. remy got her start as a child beauty pageant contestant and went on to win little commercial spots and things like that until she got an actual part on a soap opera which put her in la long enough to audition for other things. she really got famous when she landed a role on the oc as marissa cooper. she was the only one playing her age but worked out nicely for her! she's hit a lull there for a while and it looked like she would always be around but on the dl with tv and supporting roles but her sister coached her through an audition for some dinky movie called winter's bone and she ended up being nominated for an oscar (remy was blase more or less). check out her credits/bio here and please tell me if our kids should know each other!
personality wise remy is sweet, she really means well or at the very least she doesn't mean ill. she's been very coddled and protected to the extent where she doesn't know how to deal with a crisis or take care of herself. her sister seemingly waits on her hand and foot and remy thinks the world of her and her opinion and that's most how her life has played out, she just looks to whoever she trusts to make decisions for her and set her on the right track. she's extremely impressionable, trusting, and unintentionally very funny. when i say she's sort of stupid i guess what i mean to say is she's clueless and rejects any obligation to understand or function independently-- she doesn't know how much money she has, she doesn't want to know, she doesn't have roles or projects she wants to take on, she let's her sister decide those things, she really shuts down when people try to pressure her into thinking independently or ambitiously. oh and she loves angry birds.
i'd love to find her more friends, co-stars, people who are mean to her and she's too dense to realize it, an ex or two! if you have a line you think she could fill lay it on me. we're both friendly and open to a lot!
