Benji pressed his lips together as if he'd just eaten something sour and shook his head. He liked to make faces at her, because he simply adored hearing her laugh. It calmed his every anxiety and brought a smile to his own face when he thought none was possible. This time, his silly face was meant to disprove her talk of being needy. He wanted to push away such thoughts from her mind and to replace them with lighter thoughts that swam in pools of happiness and glee. "I'm happy with you. Far happier than anywhere else."
He nose-bumped her gently, still as if she could break, though he knew very well she was relatively indestructible. Still, it was nice to treat her with care. It was almost human. "Not a song, silly goose," he replied, letting his fingers run trails along the curve of her waist, "Just some quote that I must have read off the Internets or something." Then, he shrugged. "Or, it could have been a song. I guess I shouldn't shoot down the point so quickly, right? I'm not that smart." He smiled, that usual boyish, mischievous, Benji smile.
"And here I was thinking I had a pretty hot bod," he joked, flexing his biceps, which had he been human would have produced a pathetic little bump. However, since he was a vampire, they were well defined, though not like body builder, enough to make it look like he could easily lift a table and not get a hernia. "I'd hate to think of what if you only loved me because of my body. Perish the thought."
