The year is 1975, Britain is on the brink of despair as Muggle unemployment reaches a record high, people are lashing out at their government, there are bombings in London and a serial killer is on the loose. In the Magical world, unbeknown to the Muggles, something much more sinister is taking place. There are whispers of an unwelcome revolution, the likes of which have not been attempted since Grindlewald was defeated by Dumbledore years ago. The Daily Prophet are refusing to report but vicious attacks are cropping up in the once peaceful magical community of Britain. Who is this mysterious figure who apparently holds so much power? Ancient blood lines seem to know the most but are still keeping everyone in the dark. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Even so, one magical staple keeps trudging on. Hogwarts is of course, open and welcoming new and returning students for term, ever the rock that cements the magical community together. But can tensions really be ignored this school year? How will the students balance their schoolwork, boyfriend drama and Quidditch try-outs with the looming sense that something terrible is about to happen? Fera Verto is a Marauders era RPG concentrating on the daily lives of the students and wizards of Britain before and leading up to the First Wizarding War.
