Venatio Venefici: a Harry Potter Next Gen RPG | | It is the year 2022, and the wizarding world of Britain has flourished since the fall of Lord Voldemort. With Kingsley Shacklebolt as the Minister of Magic and reconstruction after the war complete, life is rather ordinary for the next generation of wizards and witches attending school at Hogwarts. That is, until they discover that the Triwizard Tournament has returned. With the introduction of twenty new students and the temporary hiatus of interhouse competition for Quidditch and House cups, the students must learn to cast aside their differences and work together while enjoying the differences that make everyone unique. But they are, after all, teenagers and most everyone knows that things can always turn unexpected, especially when magic is involved.

What happens to the old gods, once their temples have crumbled and their believers have abandoned them? Do they die, forsaken, alone? Or do they remain, still wandering the world, immortal, surviving off what little belief they can gather?
Forgotten Gods follows the lives of these old deities, brought to America long ago by explorers or immigrants from their homelands and eventually abandoned or lost from memory. As their worshippers moved on to new religions, the gods' powers waned - for a god, at its most pure essence, is no more than an idea, and an idea is worthless if there is nobody to believe in it. Some have passed, forgotten, from the world, while others have fallen into madness. Some have simply tried to adapt, to make a life for themselves in this place without gods, getting by on what little scraps of worship and belief they can garner. Others are more radical, attempting to regain the power that was once theirs, to revive their followings.
And then there are the New Gods. Gods of cars and computers, television and radio, cities and highways, all those things that modern Americans put their faith in. They are young, at the height of their power. These newcomers are regarded dismissively by some of the older gods, who have seen so many new deities rise and fall in their time; jealously by others, who wish to reclaim the power for their own; and by all with a deep wariness.
Inspired by the world of Neil Gaiman's American Gods, this game invites players to step into the roles of deities, old and new, to create their own modern mythology.

With the HIV pandemic come and gone, the global population faces another risk: global infertility. Irregardless of nationality, ethnicity, lifestyle or life regimen, no children have been born anywhere on the planet in the past fifteen years. Panic abounds. Extremist governments come to power in most countries. The whisper of a cure becomes a chant and soon rumors become reality. |

The United States government announces a treatment that can restore fertility among its people. However, fertility comes at a cost. Legislation has quickly been passed. The treatment will only be administered under certain conditions. An individual must be in good health, between the ages of 16-50, and married. Furthermore, participation for all eligible individuals is not optional. Unmarried individuals of age will be listed in a lottery, and married with the intent to start a family. |

Institutions have been erected. Before all matched couples are sent into their forced cohabitation, they are required to spend time together in government sanctioned counseling centers. Once each month they are required to undergo the fertility treatment, and they are expected to produce a child. Failure for one or both to do so will result in imprisonment until they comply. |

Welcome to The Durmstrang Institute, a school know for it's long standing traditions in the dark arts. Here you'll find people and classes you would never find in the cozy Hogwarts Castle or the beautiful Beauxbâtons Palace. The Durmstrang Institute is a fortress-like castle located in northern Russian. There are no houses at Durmstrang since individual betterment and reputation come first. Here at the Institute you won't find classes like Care of Magical Creatures or Divination. This small cutthroat school has only room for the strongest.
The wizarding world has come a long way since Harry Potter's defeat of Lord Voldemort in 1998. Before then Durmstrang did not admit muggle-born students. Nearly 5 years, many amendments, codes, and legislations later, muggle-born students were permitted to walk the halls at Durmstrang. The road hasn't been easy but now as the first muggle-born-integrated classes enters their final year something-or someone-has risen to ruin all their hard work.
Whether student, teacher, or an outside force, no one knows; but one thing is certain. Someone has finally made it clear that they don't approve of this new legislation and one way or another they are determined to see all the un-pure blood washed from the castle.

Would anyone be interested in a M*A*S*H re-cast game? It'd be the same characters/storylines but with new faces and it would be a combination of the Film/Show.
