Three years have come and passed since group seven was separated by that painful day Sasuke left the Leaf Village. While Naruto left with the Toad Sage Jiraya in order to train for the inevitable battle between the Leaf and Sound village, Konoha with all of its occupants was taking a change of themselves. Sakura became the star pupil of the 5th Hokage herself, bonds between outer villages like the Sand were beginning to strengthen, and many of the chunnin and jounin had to multiply their efforts for anything that might be thrown against them. Not only was Orochimaru's wrath their fear, but also the Akatsuki. After a while, alliances between the Sand and Leaf were becoming more prominent, attacks on both fronts were something the two villages shared along with reconstruction. It isn't a rare sight to see a building crumble due to a secret attack, despite the fact many live in fear, there are still those few Ninjas that feel it is their given right to protect their village. We know them as heroes. This is where you come in. Do you have what it takes to be a hero? Do you know what you are fighting for? Can you sacrifice everything to save your village? Are you growing tired of all those Post War games that seem to be popping up left and right now that the seventh book has been released? This game will take you back - back to when there were games where plot was the centric focus and things weren't always happy. Instead, they were serious, dark, and unknown. At Snitched, Voldemort was never defeated that night when Hogwarts went under siege. In fact, that night has yet to occur because the Death Eaters arrived at Bill and Fleur's wedding and captured many key Order members and guests in attendance. Some died, but most were imprisoned or fled somewhere safe. Since that fateful night, Voldemort has gained innumerable strength to the point where he is unstoppable. He owns the Ministry and the Wizarding World. Secretly, he owns the Muggle world and part of Europe where the Death Eaters flourish. Now that his reign is no longer contested, he has set about putting his plans into order. Muggleborns, Halfbloods, and those that are traitors to the cause are imprisoned. Some might be allowed out as slaves, providing of course that there are Death Eaters and purebloods who want them. Those that have yet to be caught are forced to flee and hide. Those that are still pureblooded are allowed to live neutrally amongst society. They are not forced to take the mark, but they are required to obey the new law - Voldemort's Law. Their loyalty must be unwavering - if they support another cause, then they must be absolutely mum about it. But word to the wise: Don't say Voldemort's name; the word itself will surely lead to the capture of those responsible no matter what their status in society. This game is not for the faint at heart. There will be dark themes and happiness will only be found in hidden corners or alleyways. There are those who will fight, who want Voldemort's reign to end, but doing so will take time, tears, blood, and sacrifice. The incident with Xavier and the replica of a machine known as Cerebro, were immediately blamed as being a source of contention across the world. Assuming that it was a so-called act of mutant violence, the President of the United States began trying to pass the Mutant Registration Act (MRA), a system that would require a ` mark ` on many public files and outcast mutants in society. It would not pass through Congress. Senator Kelly, one of the major members of Congress was a stout defender of mutant rights. He also knew that Professor Xavier‘s School was indeed a haven for young, scared boys and girls to go and learn about these strange new abilities. He was the only true mediator for mutants and humans alike. But, the President was not impressed, and called in a favor by the Brotherhood of Evil. The Brotherhood accepted, and upon the next election in November, Senator Kelly was brutally assassinated. The death of the Senator caused not only anger among mutants but also humans as well. With looming anti-mutant rallies, the MRA was brought up to Congress once more and was quickly passed. Soon, 25% of the mutant population unemployed within three weeks, the percentage soon doubled as jobs became extinct to the mutant population, the humans had deemed them too dangerous. The year is 2025 and Chicago doesn’t sparkle as it once did. Everything is dirtier, grittier and more worn down than the pictures in the history books like to show. Glitz and glamour have no place here because a war is brewing in the shadows. Bullet holes and dried blood litter the city’s streets and no one thinks twice if a person is gunned down a few feet away. But it wasn't always like that. For years the Irish, Russians and Italians occupied the city on what could be considered "friendly" terms. Patrick O'Meara saw to it that the peace was kept and that each group saw to their own affairs. Each stayed out of the other's way and if someone stepped out of line, meetings between the heads of the families were called and it was settled quietly behind closed doors. Thanks to O'Meara, they were all able to coexist peacefully enough. Well, right up until someone decided to pull the trigger and open Pandora's box. Dante Morelli, son of the Italian crime boss Antonio "Tony" Morelli, was the one who decided to take matters into his own hands. A lifelong grudge held against O'Meara's son fueled his plan for revenge and without consulting any of the elders, took a few of his most trusted soldiers and put an end to Patrick O'Meara's life. It was only a matter of time before chaos ensued and more blood was shed. No one knows exactly who pulled the trigger, but then again, it really doesn't matter. Now, Conor O'Meara has been called back from Ireland to lead in his father's place and enact a little revenge of his own. All bets are off and both the Irish and Italians are gunning for each other while the Russian's, with a little meddling of their own mixed in of course, sit back and wait for the smoke to clear. So who will it be? The Italians who specialize in drug trading and follow a list of commandments? The Russians who are notorious for underground operations and clean transactions? Or the Irish who are perhaps the oldest and most organized crime group in the city? The choice is yours and without it, you might as well be dead.
