Regaling is a cursed kingdom. Inside, there are castles towering to the sky, enchanted forests, and a host of magical creatures, but despite all of that, the kingdom is still cursed. Not just the kingdom as a whole; every single inhabitant of Regaling is born with their own curse. Some are meant to be broken, others will remain unbreakable.
Regaling is one giant fairy tale. Your character will be the hero of their story, a victim in another, a love interest in the next, and maybe a villain in all the rest.
Regaling is an AU multifandom animanga, book/movie, and video game role-play with a heavy importance on character development and humor with hi-jinks!!1! versus a complicated plot. The game is set up in a loose way in the hopes that characters will be able to make the game develop without having very much set in stone. It is designed in the form of a kingdom of fairy tales, with each character assuming a role in their own story and inevitably affecting the other stories around them. The Kingdom of Regaling itself is under a curse that includes curse days, during which the majority of Regaling's inhabitants will suffer from the same basic curse. It could, for example, be a day when everyone switches curses, or maybe forgets about the person they hold the most important to them. However, on the normal days (and I'm using "normal" lightly here~) each character must live with their own curse. As part of Regaling's curse, each person who enters the Kingdom of Regaling, be it by birth or travel, will have a curse placed upon them. The curse is theirs alone and, if they are lucky enough, they will find a way to break it...

Chaos Theory: a modern mythology-based RPGThe essential gist of the game is this: Think of any long-gone deity from mythology. Imagine they once truly existed. Now imagine that they aren't truly gone but instead their essence lives on, is reincarnated inside of that guy who sits next to you on the bus every day. Or Maureen from Accounting. Or maybe even you. They could be anyone, young or old, male or female, any race, anyone. The old deities once existed, once walked the Earth, and mortals trembled at their names. Long ago, they each slowly faded out, their existence only remembered as fables and tales. During this decline, one deity gathered up and called upon his or her last reserves of power and influence to create a reprieve, of sorts, for them all. They would find their essence, their souls if you will, not dissipated amongst the matter of the Universe but instead reborn inside a mortal body. They would be mortal, yes, their power would be greatly diminished, yes, and they might not even remember what they once were, but they would at least exist. I'm playing Jean Grey and Lorna Dane there. I'm looking for some reliable, fast-paced, friendly players to play the following characters: Scott Summers/Cyclops (we've got an Alex Summers already), Logan/Wolverine, Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver, Bobby Drake/Iceman... and there are tons of other characters available! I'd love for more Brotherhood and/or more of the Hellfire Club.
I'm definitely interested in picking up a third character, too, if you want to do a storyline swap sort of deal.

Are you growing tired of all those Post War games that seem to be popping up left and right now that the seventh book has been released? This game will take you back - back to when there were games where plot was the centric focus and things weren't always happy. Instead, they were serious, dark, and unknown. At Snitched, Voldemort was never defeated that night when Hogwarts went under siege. In fact, that night has yet to occur because the Death Eaters arrived at Bill and Fleur's wedding and captured many key Order members and guests in attendance. Some died, but most were imprisoned or fled somewhere safe. Since that fateful night, Voldemort has gained innumerable strength to the point where he is unstoppable. He owns the Ministry and the Wizarding World. Secretly, he owns the Muggle world and part of Europe where the Death Eaters flourish.
Now that his reign is no longer contested, he has set about putting his plans into order. Muggleborns, Halfbloods, and those that are traitors to the cause are imprisoned. Some might be allowed out as slaves, providing of course that there are Death Eaters and purebloods who want them. Those that have yet to be caught are forced to flee and hide. Those that are still pureblooded are allowed to live neutrally amongst society. They are not forced to take the mark, but they are required to obey the new law - Voldemort's Law. Their loyalty must be unwavering - if they support another cause, then they must be absolutely mum about it. But word to the wise: Don't say Voldemort's name; the word itself will surely lead to the capture of those responsible no matter what their status in society.
This game is not for the faint at heart. There will be dark themes and happiness will only be found in hidden corners or alleyways. There are those who will fight, who want Voldemort's reign to end, but doing so will take time, tears, blood, and sacrifice.
Wanted Characters: Senior Death Eaters and Senior Order members are currently desperately needed to run both factions (particularly Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange, Antonin Dolohov, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Molly Weasley, and Minerva McGonagall)! In addition, we would also love to see: Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Ted Tonks, Padma Patil, Colin Creevey, Lavender Brown, Naricissa and Lucius Malfoy, and anyone else you might be interested in playing!
