A Gathering of Shadows rpg
 | The Seven Kingdoms are without a King and the ancient game of thrones begins anew. For almost a thousand years the Targaryens have reigned, yet now the powers of the world watch with greedy anticipation as Westeros sinks into turmoil. The lords of the land have met in the capital city to choose one of their own to rule, but not one of them has forgotten their ancestors were kings of separate lands. Will there be Seven Kingdoms once more or will the Lords put aside their pride and vote to place one alone upon the treacherous Iron Throne? Will it be William Stark, who serves as King Regent, or will it be Lord Martell, Lord Baratheon, Lord Tyrell, or Lord Greyjoy? Will the lost Crown Prince return in time to reclaim his rightful throne?
Fight for your chosen king or battle for the right to rule your own lands. Play the game of thrones or pray to escape the carnage, but choose wisely for everything has a price.
A Gathering of Shadows is a role playing game inspired by and based on the pre-established world of George R. R. Martin's epic high fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire. The game takes place in 908 AL--608 years following the end of A Dream of Spring. Intimate knowledge of the fandom itself is not a requirement.

It's the height of June in 1883, and the Season in London is in full swing. The turn of the century is swiftly approaching, bringing with it clashes of new and old, realistic and surreal, pragmatism and desire. We are in an era of innovation and invention, from the new focus on industrial expansion to the scientific questioning of old religions. Remnants of our old lives still exist; we live in a highly segregated empire. Rich does not mix with poor. Intellectual does not mix with Philistine. And yet we are all connected as part of a whole, sending our thoughts and dreams out to greet the strange horizon where the sun is barely beginning to rise.
These are our confessions.
The London Confessions is a Victorian RPG set in London, England in the year 1883. We are looking for an eloquent player base, with a focus on quality and plots. Regaling is a cursed kingdom. Inside, there are castles towering to the sky, enchanted forests, and a host of magical creatures, but despite all of that, the kingdom is still cursed. Not just the kingdom as a whole; every single inhabitant of Regaling is born with their own curse. Some are meant to be broken, others will remain unbreakable.
Regaling is one giant fairy tale. Your character will be the hero of their story, a victim in another, a love interest in the next, and maybe a villain in all the rest.
Regaling is an AU multifandom animanga, book/movie, and video game role-play with a heavy importance on character development and humor with hi-jinks!!1! versus a complicated plot. The game is set up in a loose way in the hopes that characters will be able to make the game develop without having very much set in stone. It is designed in the form of a kingdom of fairy tales, with each character assuming a role in their own story and inevitably affecting the other stories around them. The Kingdom of Regaling itself is under a curse that includes curse days, during which the majority of Regaling's inhabitants will suffer from the same basic curse. It could, for example, be a day when everyone switches curses, or maybe forgets about the person they hold the most important to them. However, on the normal days (and I'm using "normal" lightly here~) each character must live with their own curse. As part of Regaling's curse, each person who enters the Kingdom of Regaling, be it by birth or travel, will have a curse placed upon them. The curse is theirs alone and, if they are lucky enough, they will find a way to break it...
