We all know how it ended and we've all read about how it got to that point, but how it all started is just as important. Join us as we get back to our ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) roots and discover the era that began it all. Before the Boy Who Lived ever took his first breath, witness the events that brought his parents together and the eventual turmoil that will take the entire wizarding world by storm. In Hogwarts and all over the rest of wizarding Europe, there is an aura of impending doom that has everyone in an unshakable state of unease. Rumors of murders and the unexplained circumstances surrounding them leave everyone nervous to walk out of their own front doors, wondering if they themselves could be next. Well, maybe not everyone. The Death Eaters are rising and determined to clean the bloodlines of the wizarding population, led by none other than Lord Voldemort, and the Order of the Phoenix is about to take to its own set of wings. Oh, yes, we all know what happens and how it ends, but the dynamics that shape the future start here.
Most characters are still available! Notably among these are James Potter, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, and many more! Hold challenges are encouraged.

Unlike other games based on a no-war environment, Euphoria Lane provides mod designated events on a local, national, and international scale, so there will always be a plot to follow, alongside in-depth character development. We've also made it very easy for new players to catch up!
We are looking for motivated and creative role-players, who are willing to put effort into making the Harry Potter world as real as possible, through quality writing and original storylines. If you're a player looking to explore individual depths and development for a character you love, we invite you to join us with your wit, irony, and maybe a little flash of skin.
In return, we'll tickle your fancy with monthly organized game activities, writing challenges, and a space to create and develop the magical world of Harry Potter. This is a game focused on character development and writing, run by experienced moderators and completely drama free.

The Order of the Phoenix has spent years fighting against Voldemort, his Death Eaters and the very idea of Pureblood supremacy. Many people on both sides of this battle have given their lives for what they truly believed in and in the spring of 1998 the Wizarding world thought that they had received the final answer to the struggle between equality and supremacy. Harry Potter, surrounded by those who believed in him, defeated He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named for the final time. The wizarding world rejoiced as Voldemort's dark shadow was removed from their homes and communities and they were able to rebuild the lives that they had once had.
Now, as the wizarding world enters the year 2003, they find themselves facing danger from the very people many of them fought so hard to protect. The barrier between the Wizarding and Muggle world is deteriorating. Is there a new group of Death Eaters out there? Is it a remainder of Voldemort's plans? Rumours and speculation run rampid as the Ministry tries to determine the cause. As more and more Muggles stumble across the magical world and it's people, violence and hatred cross barriers, leaving Witches and Wizards every where wondering if maybe Voldemort had been right after all.
Now, as a new year dawns, Death Eaters and Order members will have to come together to fight off this new threat. Will old grievances get in the way and tear apart old wounds? How will new policies be hammered out? And most importantly, will the Wizarding world be able to survive as the hunted minority? |

WIZANGST
This game is MOSTLY AU. It's the trio's 7th year! You can play students, teachers, alumni or whatever you want. Incorporate the older alumni into the school however you want, or you can play them out of the school. The game is based on HET smut and relationships. The war is over, Voldemort is dead but Death Eaters and his supporters are still around and on the run. We like detailed writers even if it's a smutty game. The year is 1997 and the game will start on the 2nd of September when classes are getting started. Deaths from Deathly Hallows are void and all the characters are up for grabs. Yes, we have rules! Canon peronalities and relationships are required. While it's a smut game with some crack value, we want THAT canon touch. This means H/G, R/Hr, etc. If you don't like those, sorry. Play somewhere or someone else. Slash is now allowed, but will be severely monitored and limited.

| Background |
Shape shifters, vampires, and witches walk among us, undetected for centuries thanks to their cardinal law: Never let the humans know we exist. Of course, such a law is rather difficult to keep in a world where humans and supernatural creatures live side by side so there were stories and legends about fantastic, powerful creatures that stalked the night and walked throughout the daylight hours. Yet, despite the stories, few humans truly believe that such creatures existed. All the better, thought the monsters. All the better to survive, to live, to rule the secret underworld.
So they have existed, living with the humans, some even evolving to match the modern world but their world was not always peaceful. In all the major cities throughout the world, various species battle for control. The wolves own New York and London, the cats own Cairo and Los Angeles, the witches rule Dublin, Boston, Brighton, Salem. Yet, it is the vampire clans that hold the most power in the world, running major cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, and San Francisco to name a few. Yet each group wants more and will use their members to get it, whether the members want to be a part of the war or not. |
| Premise |
The vampires took control of San Francisco after 1906 but before then the city belonged to the witches and even now the witches scheme to take control once more. In the city there is an uneasy tension between the groups, especially as the Nocturnal clan has started to allow more werewolves in the city, upsetting the were-cats. At the moment there is peace but each group schemes and manipulates the other, their members caught in the middle of age-old grudges, mind games, furious brawls, and romantic entanglements.
It is up to the leaders of the groups to moderate their members and keep things under control. A difficult thing to do when the supernatural world seems to be at the edge of an internal war that is likely to spill out into the human world. But where do you stand? Are you going to help your clan retain peace? Or are you out for blood and a slice of your own personal glory? Or perhaps you'd rather sit back and manipulate the others from behind the scenes?
