It's your 18th birthday, a day that is exactly the same for you and your peers in one way. And that's the man in the black suit at the door at precisely 6:15 in the morning with a congratulatory message about your birthday and news of your acceptance to a very special university.
Confusion is normal at this point. It sounds insane- a school that is on some island and teaches magic, combat, and foreign languages? A community and town of like powered people who work together to create an utopia and protect the world around them like the clumsy, hopelessly flawed heroes of old?
Fear follows next. Because if you say no, you'll forget that birthday meeting, you'll go back to sleep and wake up a little groggy and nothing more. But if you say yes... well. Then you leave your family, your friends, your job, and your plans behind forever for the chance to be apart of something unimaginably powerful and special.

 C O N F L I T
The year is 1976 and the wizarding world is at war. The Ministry has had one Minister go missing and the replacement is bowing to the pressure of the ever growing power of the dark side. As the world outside of Hogwarts faces darkness and uncertainty, the world inside isn’t any much better off. The once safe sanctuary of the school has been compromised by the Ministry’s cowardice. Muggleborns have become segregated from their classmates and removed from their activities. Professor Dumbledore has been removed from the school and a new Headmaster has been put in his place. No longer feeling safe, the students have taken to align themselves on either sides. As the Order of the Phoenix tries to inspire hope from the outside, the new regime are hoping to dispel any whisperings of rebellion. Loyalties are tested as the darkness seeps into formally hallowed halls.
