City Of Hills is an aim and thread friendly play by (PB)/city based community set in San Francisco, California. Writers of this community are promised creative control over their story lines. As long as things are kept realistic, there should not be an issue at all. We are a game that encourages diversity among characters and accept all types of play bys. This is a pretty basic city-wide game, although we do focus our residential selections around fourteen neighborhoods. This game also accepts characters of all ages.

| PROLOGUE |
You wake up one morning with a headache, you wonder if you're hung-over but you didn't drink anything last night so that can't be it and after taking a painkiller and heading to work you forget all about it. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you on edge and makes you feel uncomfortable.
It doesn't stop.
Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or maybe they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you.
The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands.
They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you used to be and are possibly becoming will need to choose.

Golden Apples Premise It's the Great Escape! June 19th, 2000. Death Eaters breakout from Azkaban the same night the Ministry throws a gala event. The hard work of all the Aurors has gone down the drain as the Prophet reports the breakout - with minimal details. No one knows what's happening, and where the escaped Death Eaters are. Why is the Ministry withholding information? And now that they're free, what's their next move?
Golden Apples is a post Deathly Hallows Harry Potter RPG that opened June 19th with a gala...and a prison break. Great way to start off a game! Plot is kicking off now, because the Ministry's hiding more than the names of the DE's who broke out. What on earth are the golden apples, and why are they important? |

Wanted Characters We need Death Eaters! Younger DE's, the older crowd, anyone left alive after the end of Death Hallows is eligible and eagerly sought. In the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War, the Malfoy family didn't have many options in the career world. With the money that was left, Lucius ventured into the stock market and Draco, after much planning (and a little begging), opened Ame Noir, the wizarding world's first club in the heart of London.
After three successful years and two more locations in France and Germany, Draco was ready to conquer America. Boston was the place to start. The city had a thriving magical community and lots of old world charm. Ame Noir Boston was opened in 2004 and has been the favourite of young witches and wizards for five years running.
Ame Noir is an AU Harry Potter-based game set in present day Boston with all original characters and player controlled plots. Be a member of the staff or one of it's regular patrons. It's all up to you!
