Fort Greene is a vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood full of diversity and culture. The area continues to attract musicians, artists, and other people looking for cheap rent close to Manhattan. While one might mention the creaking pipes, the peeling olive green wallpaper in the hallways, or how the temperamental elevators never make it to the top floor, Clermont Heights is filled with interesting characters and always-fun, too-close for comfort neighborly relationships.
Even though the cranky landlady, Mrs. Winchell, who spends more time interested in her cats than helping residents might not be a selling point, when rent is between $900 and $1300 a month, college students and mid-to-low-income families can't afford to complain too much. After all, home is where the heart is!

| PROLOGUE |
You wake up one morning with a headache, you wonder if you're hung-over but you didn't drink anything last night so that can't be it and after taking a painkiller and heading to work you forget all about it. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you and edge and makes you feel uncomfortable.
It doesn't stop.
Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you.
The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands.
They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you were and are possibly becoming will need to choose.

We all know the story of New Moon, but what if things didn't end the way that they did?
The year is 2006, and emotions are running high. Edward left Bella in a state of heartbreak and confusion, which only pushed her closer to Jacob Black. Even after learning about Jacob's little secret, Bella found that she couldn't keep herself away from him. He had become her best friend and the source of light in her life, and eventually feelings began to develop between the two of them. Meanwhile, Edward stayed away from Bella as he had promised her, and therefore couldn't see how broken she had been during his absence. It was only after Bella's cliff-diving mistake that her life began to turn upside down again. Rosalie told Edward that Bella had died, which forced him to make an irrational decision to go to Italy and face the Volturi. Alice came to check on Charlie, and instead found Bella alive and well when Jake had taken her to her house.
But what if Bella had never gone to Italy? What if Edward returned to Forks the day after Alice came to check up on Chief Swan because he just had to see the truth for himself? And what if the recent murders in Seattle reached Edward's ears once Carlisle found out about them? Will the battle against this new threat be the greatest one of their lives, or will the task that Edward has to face in order to get Bella to believe him be greater?
