The Reception: Aya/Schreient/Ken/Open
Aya gave Ken a glare askance. What had him worked up so much again? "/I just told you, to pay rent,/" he hissed back, reacting instinctively to Ken's posture by standing straight up, fingers twitching for a blade that wasn't there. It wasn't as if he actually liked being indebted, be that Tot or Kritiker, back in the days.
"/In fact, I wouldn't even have to be here if—/" Aya clipped his jaw shut mid-sentence. No, that wasn't fair, Aya-chan was nobody's responsibility but his own. It still pissed him off though.
"/Never mind. I have absolutely no idea who are them nor what have they done./" Not that he wouldn't go and question Tot afterward to know just what exactly she got him into this time, but Ken did not need to know that. "/You can choose to either enlighten me right now or live with the fact that I'm not on Weiss' side tonight. Nothing personal, but I do have to pay bills./" So much for making conversation. Well, he never was any good for that.
"/Give my regards to Persia,/" Aya nodded coolly, already retreating two steps, giving himself more room to maneuver, or simply walk away.
