"Liar. It can so be taken back." He probably would have to agree with Damon eventually. He'd yet to meet Dania and there was a good chance that it wasn't just ego and she was everything Damon claimed she was. Until he'd figured that out for himself, however, he wasn't going to believe everything the vampire said.
Adam stared at him in silent confusion. Wondering if Damon had meant to kiss him and what had stopped him. He laughed softly at the older man's words and shook his head. "I smell wonderful. Are you sure you aren't just hungry?" He was only partially teasing. Since their initial meeting it wasn't unusual for Adam to volunteer up a little blood. He shrugged slightly and pressed a light kiss to Damon's chin before taking a step back. He didn't stray too far, however. "I'll still take it as a compliment though. I'd rather smell nice than, you know, any sort of alternative."
