As soon as she said the words it clicked in his head; that was what he was feeling. It wasn't simply wanting to be near her or feeling some sort of powerful infatuation toward her. He was in love with her. He loved her. More than anyone or anything.
"I love you too, Castiel." He smiled warmly, adoration shining in his eyes. There was no tentativeness in his voice now, nor any uncertainty in him. "I love you." Adam gently ran his fingers through her hair, cupping the back of her head as he moved to kiss her again. The kiss was tender and he was happy to continue it as long as she let him. He wanted to memorize the way she tasted and the way she felt and the way she looked. He wanted to know what made her happy and what she liked. Adam wanted to know everything. Could they make magic together?, he wondered. The prospect alone was exciting.
